Learning Objectives
- describe and classify characteristics of hypo arousal, hyper arousal, and the window of tolerance.
- define the concept of a “resource” and its role in trauma-informed care.
- practice and apply at least five resourcing and state-shifting exercises to support nervous system regulation.
- identify special considerations when working with trauma survivors, including pacing, safety, and readiness for regulation-based interventions.
