Staci Bertagna is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been a licensed psychotherapist for nine years and has been working in the field of social work for over 20 years. Staci has worked with a variety of populations over the span of her career, and her passion is supporting others in finding their own voice and working towards their greatest personal healing.
Staci is a trained clinician, consultant, and specialty presenter in Brainspotting and actively utilizes this technique as a tool in the therapeutic process with her clients. Staci fell in love with Brainspotting in 2019 and has grown personally and professionally thanks to the Brainspotting community. Staci has a passion to share Brainspotting with other clinicians and the populations they serve through assisting in trainings, conducting specialty focused trainings, and consultation services.
She has worked in private practice since December 2021. Prior to this, she worked in psychiatric care for 10 years, running an IOP for mental health, chemical dependency, and dual diagnosis, as well as individual, family, and group therapy services, intensive trauma treatment, and TMS treatment for children, teens, adults and elderly. Staci works with trauma, chronic bereavement, psychological response to medical trauma, 1st and 2nd responders, chronic depression, anxiety, and mood instability.
Brainspotting to Heal Shame, Self-Esteem & Imposter Syndrome
Healing our deepest wounds while enhancing positive self-regard with Brainspotting.
This one-day specialty training will support the clinician in holding attuned space, while learning how to reprogram negative cognitions and self-beliefs with the use of Brainspotting. The impacts of shame, self-esteem, and imposter syndrome will be discussed as to how it can impact the clinician's role and the support offered to clients. This training will teach two expansion set-ups with demonstration, followed by practicum time to role-play as client and clinician.
