Brainspotting to Heal Shame, Self-Esteem & Imposter Syndrome
Healing our deepest wounds while enhancing positive self-regard with Brainspotting.
This one-day specialty training will support the clinician in holding attuned space, while learning how to reprogram negative cognitions and self-beliefs with the use of Brainspotting. The impacts of shame, self-esteem, and imposter syndrome will be discussed as to how it can impact the clinician's role and the support offered to clients. This training will teach two expansion set-ups with demonstration, followed by practicum time to role-play as client and clinician.

Learning Objectives
- develop your own confidence as a clinician capable of holding attunement and synthesizing the techniques of Brainspotting.
- integrate reprogramming of negative cognitions and self-beliefs with the use of Brainspotting, while building on positive self-regard.
- gain knowledge in expansion Brainspotting set-ups that support breaking down shame, negative cognitions, and negative beliefs.
- evaluate the use of Truth and Lie and Shame Expansion Brainspotting set-ups within a live demonstration.
- role-play in practicum experiences as a client and therapist to build confidence in use of Brainspotting techniques.
