Top 10 DBT Skills Every Clinician Should Have in Their Toolkit

CE Hours 2 2 Clinical

About this course

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) offers a set of practical, actionable techniques that help clients stabilize, reduce therapy-interfering behaviors, and increase effective coping across settings. This skills-focused training highlights ten essential DBT interventions clinicians can integrate immediately into their practice, drawing from all four core modules: Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation, and Interpersonal Effectiveness. Through demonstrations and practical examples, participants will learn how to teach, sequence, and adapt foundational strategies, including guidance on tailoring DBT skills for adolescents and their caregivers to strengthen engagement and treatment effectiveness.

Slide deck and bonus DBT Workbooks are included.

Please note: participants will be watching a recorded video.
